The left turn is the topic of today’s post. No, this isn’t a driving instruction, and it has nothing to do with politics. Things go haywire, go south, etc. when they take a left turn; in other words, there has been an unforeseen twist in the turn of events. What would you get if you drew a line and turned left four times? It’s a square. But not just any square will suffice. It’s the comic strip’s square. And the comic is all about situations with unexpected outcomes! We went full circle, despite the fact that we were discussing squares—what a surprise! Take note to the title of the comics—”Machine it’s Yearning Comics”—because you could enjoy them a lot.
“I’ve always like reading webcomics since they’re a great way to laugh or express yourself in a short amount of time. I’ve always enjoyed drawing and have often considered what would make for fascinating or amusing comic concepts. So the obvious notion to start a webcomic eventually came to me one day, and the rest is history. My primary goal is to create comics that I find fascinating or entertaining in some way, and if others enjoy them as well, that is an added benefit. I wouldn’t call them perfect, but learning and improving my skills and style, as well as looking back on how they’ve progressed, has been a lot of joy.”
